how would this work on chopping hay for feeding animals
I have been looking at equipment to chop small hay bales and wondered if this would work with a smaller screen.
The DR Chipper/Shredders are multi-purpose machines that have separate chambers for chipping branches and for shredding material to grind up. The hammers and screen work together to take in yard debris such as leaves, straw, hay, grass clippings, vines, corn stalks and other garden debris/flexible material. It sucks the material in quickly and leaves you with small, easily-compostable material.
The 14.5 FPT Chipper/Shredder comes standard with a 1" mulch screen. Optional screens are available in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", an oblong hole screen and a welded rectangular hold screen.

will this drive birds out of a fairly closed building?
we have a pole building for our business. we have a problem with birds pecking at the insulating foam and getting inside. they were coming in easily when we purchased the building. we just recently re-tinned the whole thing but the birds were so used to getting in through the foam holes that even with some new foam and tin they persist on working their way in. we need to break this cycle bird generations living inside. will this product drive them and keep them out? if not, what will? thanks for your help.

Do you recommend Redi Plow Plus for a gravel driveway?
I currently use a snowblower that I have adjusted the shoe plates so that the bucket is a few inches above the driveway. I don't get all snow cleared but neither am I picking up stones that can break shear pins and or windows.
The DR Redi-Plow has an ABS rubber edge on the underside of the blade that keeps it safe to use on a variety of different surfaces, be it concrete, gravel, asphalt, brick and can also be used without damaging grassy areas.
The blade is secured by a push frame, as you push the snow the blade moves up and down by gravity pushing the snow with the rubber cutting edge/blade. The rubber cutting edge is designed to cut through snow but pass over the harder ground surfaces below. When you back up, the blade automatically lays back, skimming over the surface. Drive forward, the blade reengages for plowing.

What is the difference between the 2-yr and 3-yr warranty on the self propelled high wheel trimmer/mower. It looks like they both offer 5 years of protection?
Trimmer Mowers that are equipped with a Subaru engine receive a 3 year standard residential warranty (1 year commercial) with the option to extend the engine warranty for up to 3 years, giving you a full 6 years coverage.
Trimmer Mowers with either the Briggs & Stratton engine or Kohler engine have a 2 year standard residential warranty (90 days commercial). The same extended engine warranty options apply for up to 5 years coverage.
The standard machine warranty on all model Trimmer Mowers is 2 years for residential use (90 days for commercial), with the extended warranty option giving you up to a full 5 years coverage.
