Our most affordable Trimmer Mower, the PREMIER is a tremendous value. Lightweight and easy to maneuver, it will outperform any handheld trimmer. The 6.50 Kohler OHV engine with cast iron sleeve has plenty of power for all trimming and lighter mowing tasks.
Where is this trimmer made.
The design, engineering and manufacturing of the DR Trimmer Mower is all done here at our Factory located in the State of Vermont. Product testing of the Trimmer Mowers is conducted in various locations around the U.S.

The Versa Barrow is an optional attachment for the DR Versa-Pro Z Steer Mower. The Versa Barrow turns your mower into a hauling machine.
The Barrow attaches to the flat decking and hauls up to 500 pounds of material. It is great for loose soil, mulch, firewood, gravel and much more.

Non-stick, hardened steel blades are great for cutting ground level suckers and saplings without bending or stooping and hard to reach limbs. Ratcheting action allows you to cut branches up to 2" thick with minimum effort.

Don't settle for cheap brush mowers! Mow it down and chop it up with the 12.5 Premier. Our lightest, most compact model, this unit is nimble, yet powerful enough to take down 2" thick saplings and tough grass and weeds. Manual starting, 24" cut.
When delivered, is assembly required or do I just take it out of the box, add gas and start cutting?
The 12.5 HP Premier Manual Start Walk Behind Field and Brush mower is shipped strapped to a wooden pallet in a large heavy-duty corrugated box. It arrives fully assembled and after adding the gas and oil you are ready to go. But don't forget to add an enzyme fuel treatment to your gas.
Because most gasoline sold in the U.S. today has an ethanol content of about 10% to 15%, we recommend using an enzyme fuel treatment. It will remove gum, varnish, carbon and water from the gas in the tank, works in all 2 and 4 cycle engines, improves octane in old fuel and keeps stored fuel fresh for up to two years.

26" Cutting Width - This machine will chop down just about anything you can throw at it. 3" thick saplings, 6-foot high grass and 8-foot high weeds don't stand a chance against this fully-featured brush mower. Go anywhere with 4 forward speeds, (1 reverse) and lockable differential.
How low to the ground will this mower cut 3" saplings?
The Self-Propelled Walk Behind Field and Brush Mower has a pivoting mower deck that automatically follows the contour of the ground and has a fixed 4 inch cutting height.
When cutting woody material such as small saplings, you will want to allow the machine to ride up and over material slowly and adjust your forward speed to varying conditions.
After cutting brush, you may want to mow over it again to remove any remaining branches. It works best to mow from the trunk end toward the top as brush lies on the ground.

What about buying from a local DR dealer?
Have a DR dealer in town. Can I get the same pricing from them as I can get by ordering direct? Can I get the same 0% financing for 3 yrs? I'd order from you, but I've got no way to handle the pickup or delivery.

Our reconditioned Chippers are machines returned under the terms of our DR Hands-On Trial Period and are barely used. Each machine is inspected, reconditioned, restored to "like new" condition and sold at substantial savings.
They also come with our standard two-year warranty and our Hands-On Trial Period. Our narrower model Power Grader uses 12 carbide-tipped teeth to loosen and redistribute compacted materials on your unpaved roads. Remote control regulates depth. Tow behind yourATV or compact tractor. Far easier to use and more effective than a box scraper.

Of the vehicles we've tested, utility tractors and four wheel drive ATVs perform best for towing the Power Grader. Lawn tractors, including zero turn models, also work very well. Towing requirements when using a lawn tractor are:
- 48" Model: must have a tractor with 14 HP or greater, weighing 400 lbs or more.
- 60" Model: must have a tractor with 19 HP or greater, weighing 500 lbs or more.
The Power Grader cannot be used with a Truck (2WD or 4WD) or SUV. Towing the Power Grader with one of these vehicles wouldn't give you the results you would be expecting. It is best being able to see the gravel/dirt when you are grading so you can adjust the teeth accordingly. Trucks are wider then the Grader which means you will not be able to get along the edges. Also, use of a truck will void the Power Grader warranty.
