The Log King Sawhorse has not been formally stress tested, however, the manufacturer had 500 lbs. on the sawhorse without any apparent flexing. The intended use is for a log of up to 10" in diameter and 150 lbs. Larger logs are easier to cut on the ground with the proper tools.

Tractor requirements are a Category 1 hitch with hydraulic couplings and the horsepower should be between 25-65 hp. To determine if your tractor will work with our splitter, we will need to know what pressure and gallons per minute the hydraulics on your tractor run at. Certain series tractors do not produce enough GPM's to work a 3 point hitch splitter. It may be able to split the wood, but the cycle time will be very slow. Ideal pressure rating on the pump is 2500 PSI and you can expect up to 13 tons of pressure. . We suggest you contact your local tractor dealer to check on the specifications of your tractor.

As for the life span of the pump on the oil extractor, we do not have any accurate data on the duration of the pump, but the pump is removeable for easy storage and replaceable.
