All models of the DR Trimmer Mower have a splash lubrication system. With the Trimmer Mower you can safely trim and mow on slopes up to 20 degrees, which translates to a 36.4% slope. Continuous use on slopes steeper than 20 degrees may deprive the engine of adequate lubrication and damage components.

Slopes greater than 20 degrees are also a major factor in loss of control and tip-over accidents. Because the Trimmer Mower is sometimes used on rough terrain, we always advise one to exercise caution and to mow across a slope, never up and down.

We are unable to locate a record of your DR machine with the serial number you gave. The serial number of the machine is located on the main frame, where the lower handlebars join the main body of the trimmer – either left or right side.

The DR Power Grader is equipped with carbide-tipped steel scarifying teeth, much like those used on commercial excavator buckets, capable of loosening compacted road material, crushed limestone, bluestone gravel, sand, cinders and crushed shells with minimal wear. However, it will not grade crushed or recycled asphalt, nor will it grade areas covered with thick vegetation.

If the area you plan on grading has a lot of rocks, the Power Grader will perform better if you remove the majority of the rocks from the surface. A weight tray is included to allow you to collect rocks that are unearthed while grading and will hold up to 70 pounds of material. This extra weight creates digging power. The heavier the tractor you use, the more traction you will have which will enable you to go deeper and grade quicker. It the dirt in your drive is too compact it may take more passes to break it up.

The blade on the back of the grader is fixed and holds the dirt or sand in place allowing the material to fill in ruts as you
go over them with the machine. As the Power Grader's teeth dig into the surface there will be small lines that will be created in the surface. The Drag Screen will smooth all the lines out and leave you with a nice, smooth finished surface.
