Our Tow-Behind Leaf and Lawn Vacuum will work with most conventional-style riding lawn tractors that have a front, mid or belly-mounted lawn deck. All models can be attached to tractors with a 14 HP minimum as long as their motors are mounted toward the front of the tractor.

For front mounted lawn mowers - 54" or greater, you will need to take a smaller cutting swath. If the deck cutting width is greater than 54", greater amounts of discharged material could cause the DR to clog, so mowing smaller swaths is recommended.

To help determine whether the DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum is compatible with your mower, please review the list of questions below. This information will also help you decide which model is appropriate for your riding mower.

1. What is the Cutting Width of your mower?

2. Do you currently have a bagging or collection system for your lawn mower? If so, is the diameter of the boot’s discharge opening between 6" and 8"?
The blower inlet hose on the DR measures 6" in diameter, but we also have adapters for boots with diameters of up to 8" (included at no charge). If you do not, our Universal-Fit Mower Deck Boot, can be modified to fit lawn decks that have a discharge opening up to 6" high by 19" wide. If our Universal-Fit Mower Deck Boot will not fit with your mower’s lawn deck, you may be able to locate a boot by contacting the manufacturer or local dealer of your mower.

3. Do you have a pin hitch on the back of your tractor between 5" and 20" from the ground?

If not, is there a secure place on the back of your tractor to mount a hitch plate?
If you are in need of a Hitch Plate or opted for the Dual Point Hitch Kit, what is the distance between the rear wheels on your mower?

4. What is the distance from the back opening of the discharge on the lawn mower to the back of the furthest point of the back of the tractor?

If the distance is 40 inches or less, our standard blower inlet hose will be sufficient. However, if this distance is between 41 inches and 7 feet, then our optional Hose Extension Kit is required. If the distance is greater than 7 feet, the mower is too large to be used with the DR.

Our 3-Point Hitch Dual-Action Log Splitter is designed for tractors that have rear auxiliary hydraulic connections. We do not have connections for front hydraulic connections.

You can check with your tractor dealer and see if there is an accessory that is available that will allow the rear connection.

This Professional Grade 50" Lawn Sweeper features an extra large 26 cu. ft. heavy-duty collector bag and a wide 50 inch sweeping path allowing you to get your lawn care done quickly and with less effort. Extra wide 9 in. chute is less likely to clog and easily sweeps grass clippings, leaves, small twigs, stones and acorns and other small nuts. For acorns and hickory nuts, you may need to take a couple of passes.

You will want to choose the appropriate setting so that the Lawn Sweeper hitch tubes are roughly level with the ground. Adjust the brush heights so that the brushes extend roughly 1/2" below the tips of the grass. The more level the sweeper is, the more efficient it will operate.

A 3-position hitch adjustment allows for efficient level operation with any tractor hitch height without the use of easy to lose spacer rings. The hopper easily empties by pulling a rope from the seat of your tractor.
