Cable from module to light is 13 feet long. A photovoltaic solar module recharges the battery, so you can mount it anywhere it will receive sunshine during the day. At night, a sensor detects motion and turns on the halogen lamp.
The lamp is fully adjustable and is a 20 watt halogen. The battery is a 6 volt, 4.5 amp, sealed lead battery which should last from 3 to 5 years and can be replaced. There are two settings - 30 seconds and 60 seconds.
Light needs 3 sunny days to initialize and is equipped with a convenient on/off rocker switch for manual override
and to eliminate performance inhibiting memory effect from the internal batteries. You receive a one year manufacturer's warranty.
