Our Self-Propelled Field and Brush Mowers are designed to cut down heavy growth on rough terrain. They are lighter weight than most riding mowers and tractor drawn brush mowers so it can be used in places where larger equipment can't maneuver. A pivoting mower deck automatically follows the contour of the ground and has a fixed 4 inch cutting height. The deck pulley is designed to shear or break if the deck happens to hit a rock or stump.
For areas that may have numerous stumps and rocks, we offer an optional attachment called the Bladeless Mowing Attachment. It is used for mowing lighter grass and weed covered areas on your property where you wouldn't want to take any steel bladed mower. It uses extra heavy duty nylon cutting cord (170 mil). - 15/16" wrench or socket
- torque wrench (optional)
- gloves
- 2"x4" to brace the blade
You will need to:
- block the blade
- remove lock nut/washer
- remove blade
- mount new blade, washer/lock nut and tighten
