Removing saplings by their roots ensures that they will not grow back. Uproot saplings and small trees up to 6 inches wide with the Brush Grubber Xtreme XL!
We have a lot of hauiache bushes and trees as well as oodles of yaupon, do they have to be dead to pull them out?

Our narrower model Power Grader uses 12 carbide-tipped teeth to loosen and redistribute compacted materials on your unpaved roads. Remote control regulates depth. Tow behind yourATV or compact tractor. Far easier to use and more effective than a box scraper.
Power Grader performance on steep rocky driveway?
We recently had severe flooding in Colorado. Our long driveway now has gullies and washouts in many areas. Some a up to 2ft deep! And the driveway is not on flat land either. One section has a 10% grade.
I want to know how this product will perform on this type of drive way. In the past we have hired a contractor to bring in recycled asphalt and re-grade it using a Kubota type small farm tractor with a blade or by towing a steel beam.
The price the road contractor quoted now is more than the cost of the DR Power Grader. I figure I can do this myself.
I don't have an 4 wheeler ATV but I do have a powerful lawn tractor.
How do you think the DR Power Grader will perform?

There is a couple other things to consider, the recycled asphalt, it needs to be loose enough to put a shovel into, the power grader will not loosen hardened asphalt. Now as far as your tractors abitity to tow it, the 10% grade may challenge a lawn tractor, depending on its weight and types of tires it has on it.

The DR Power Grader will work great on that type of driveway, although you will need to fill in the 2 foot deep gullies at least enough to drive your tractor through. The 48 inch Power Grader requires a minimum 14 hp or 400 pound tractor or larger and the 60 inch requires a minimum 19 hp or 500 pound tractor or larger. Is this machine compatible with a discharge chute?
The DR Chipper/Shredder discharge's to the ground under the Chipper so there is not the option for a discharge chute. The Chipper's have the discharge chute.

Handles limbs up to 3-1/2" thick with ease. Vastly more powerful than "bargain" brands. Big hopper for easy feeding. Tows behind tractor or ATV with optional pin hitch.
How can this model handle branch sizes larger than other brands with the same engine size?
Other than the larger chute, other chipper makers offering this model engine cannot claim to handle branch sizes this size. Nor are they as expensive--with comparable models being about 20% cheaper. What makes the DR different?
The DR 11.5 Premier Rapid Feed Chipper has a 34 pound flywheel that is spinning at 98 MPH that provide's the extra chipping force. They are built on a 10 gauge welded steel frame with a 7 gauge chipper box.

Does a lid handle come with the unit?
I saw a handle for the lid in photos. Should it be removed when burning. I would assume that it has hooks that go into the slots to remove it from the lid. Is the handle safe to use if burning is active. If I want to add more material to the fire should I let it burn out before removing the lid.

Our most powerful Chipper/Shredder. Takes branches up to 4-1/2" thick. Garden waste is pulverized by 48 free-swinging hammers. Road-towable up to 45mph.
are the chippers self feeding or do you have to feed them
The Large, vertically oriented hopper uses gravity to automatically feed material to the Chipper/Shredder. Side branches may prevent material from being drawn into the hopper without some assistance.
