Can it be used on a Steep Incline?

I have a pond with a Very steep dam and it has become way overgrown with shrubs and small trees. It is to steep to mow with tractor and too much area to cover by hand with weed eater and chainsaw. Is this a 2cycle or 4 cycle motor?

Yes, the deck can be easily removed. It is held in place by a series of pins. Husqvarna says their garden tractors are able to tow appropriately sized items such as a trailer, spreader, aerator and dethatcher.

Towing or pulling capacities?

Without knowing the exact unit's product code, it's difficult to determine from this website, the Husqvarna's capabilities so I would like to know if, for example, this machine is able to pull the Versa trailer up to the maximum gross weight of a loaded trailer and also what hitch is standard on the mower. Or will it tow the DR Roto Tiller package (TPP900P)?

If the mower does not have any hitch as standard, then a customer could order a mower & trailer from you and be reasonably disappointed when after arrival, he finds cannot do what he expected to so do, with the new machines!

If the Husqvarna is not capable, I think there ought to be an alternative suggestion given in either the same brand or different.

Husqvarna does not list tow ratings for their lawn tractors. The mower does have a small tow bar with a 3/8" hole for a tow pin. This is suitable for a small dump cart. Generally speaking, a 3/8" tow pin itself is only rated to 1000 lbs. maximum. I hope this helps, and thank you for your interest.

Is there an accessory for this equipment to bust sod?

I was at a dealer today and he mentioned an accessory for sod busting for this equipment. I have not come across any information related to this during my research. If it exists what are the specifications and price

I believe the dealer was referring to the drag stake kit. This kit attaches two drag stakes to the Roto Hog, using existing bolt holes. The stakes hold the Roto Hog back and forces it to dig through the sod layer. I recommend this kit, especially for new garden installation. It is available for $59.99. Engine, Trailering.

What is a DR engine? Is it a B&S or Honda or??? Would it be a simple process to replace the engine w/a Honda or B&S after it wears out? Are there any hydraulics or reservoir? Looking at the rapid fire splitter for $1800 + 200 seems a good value, but then I read the specs next to the XL model that is substantially more, and the small model draws suspicion as being a wimp. Whats the story w/the Jr. model?

What about trailering? Can it be pulled on a road at, say, 35 or so?

The DR engine is a common style, similar to a Briggs & Stratton, but we do not get it from them. If the DR engine needed replacing my first choice would be the Subaru engine that we use on thePro XL model. It would be a direct fit.

There are no hydraulics on either Rapid Fire model. They are flywheel driven. Think of the Pro model as a 22 ton splitter and the Pro XL as a 34 ton for comparison. The Pro is a strong unit that will suit the majority of residential customers. Both the Pro and Pro XL are towable around your property with a pin hitch, by a 4 wheeler or garden tractor.
