The only mechanical differences between the Pro & Pro XL Rapidfire Splitters are the Engine & Flywheels. This combination makes the Pro a little less powerful. It is the equivalent of a 28 Ton vs the 34 ton of the Pro XL.

What is the difference between the two models? What is CARB?
I assume the more expensive model must be designed for California's tough environmental regulations, but what exactly is different? Does CARB stand for carboration? California Restricted Byproducts? Cancerous Air Reducing Biofilter?
CARB stands for California Air Resources Board. They are a department of the California Environmental Protection Agency. They set the standards for what can be sold in California, air quality wise.
The only difference between the 2 is the CARB certification and any components that are required to meet the standards.

Will the tree chopper cut rose bushes clean off at ground level?
The rose bushes are up to six feet high and have many very small stems close to the ground. Will this tree chopper cut them clean off or will the small branhes pass through?
Unless the base of the Bushes are pretty stout, it may not cut them. You may want to look into our Trimmer line with the Beaver Blade attachment.

Will this work on a sand beach?
I'm looking for equipment that can be towed behind a golf cart or ATV over 600 feet of sand beach.
Purpose is to manicure the beach and also expose any sand-flea eggs/larvae.

It should work fine for the manicuring. It will require some good traction. You may want the optional drag screen too.
We're not sure about the Sand Flea exposure though. That's something we haven't tested!

The placement of the hour meter depends on the machine it's going on.
The connection of it is the same. Basically, the wire gets wrapped around the spark plug about 5 or 6 times and then routed back to the handlebars avoiding anything hot or a pinch point.
Some machines have a cutout to hold the meter and other will have a bracket that bolts on.
