Powerful extermination of moles, voles, gophers, and other burrowing rodents. The Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb allows smoke to penetrate deeply into rodents' burrows, killing them before they kill your lawn!

are these safer to use around pets than posion peanuts.?

As long as your pets don't get into the tunnels or stay around the tunnel openings, they should be fine. The fumes are toxic and basically remove the oxygen from the tunnels.

All the power and performance of the 12.5 HP Premier, but with a pivoting 26" deck and the ability to accept optional attachments! Take down tough grass and weeds, plus saplings up to 2" thick. Go anywhere with 4 forward speeds plus 1 reverse. Manual Starting. 26" cut.

How sharp is sharp?

I just picked up my new mower. In spite of all the documentation warning against cutting yourself on the rotor blade I was surprised by how dull the cutting edge really was. The unit works great but it seems to me that the blade is more like breaking off the growth rather than cutting it. The stock blade has about a 45° bevel on the outer ends of the blade. The bevel doesn't come to a point on the leading edge but rather leaves about a 1/16th of an inch blunt surface on the leading edge? I guess my question is will the blade perform better if I file the leading edge to a nice crisp pointed edge? Or is there some reason not to put a sharper edge on the blade?
The Field & Brush Mower Blades do come as you describe. If you are going to be cutting just heavy grass you want to sharpen to a finer edge. You will want the "blunt" edge when getting into heavier brush & saplings. A fine edge is weaker and would dent & break more quickly.

Can the mower self propelled option be disengaged?

Can you easily drop out of self propelled mode to back up?
Yes, there is a separate Bar to engage the Drive system. Just release it when you need to stop or backup.

Devours yard debris, garden waste, and branches up to 3" thick, and produces rich, finely shredded mulch. Pnuematic tires for easy maneuvering.

I will be primarily be usung the chipper/shreader to reduce fresh tree trimmings from carrotwood and Agonis Flexuosa (Austrailian Willow, Peppermint

Tree). I trim once a year and the branches are typically in the 1" or less range. I don't want to strip the leaves and smaller branches from the larger branches and feed seperately into two seperate hoppers! If I feed the 1" branches complete with smaller green branches and leaves, into the chipper hopper, will the material also automatically be fed through the swinging hammers of the shreader and be shreaded?
The max diameter for the Shredder is 3/8". Anything larger (up to 3") should go through the Chipper. You may need to trim larger offshoot branches to fit through the Hopper though.

DR Field and Brush Mower - Clutch Kit for SN 673 and Above

I can use my bruch mower for 20 minutes or so, then the clutch starts to slip.

The blade is easliy slowed by any cutting. Is the clutch adjustable? I have used washers to increase the slightly change the length of the engagement, but any other ideas? Or do I need to replace the clutch?
It sounds like a new Clutch is in order. I've included the link to it below.

Choose the size of your watering area by simply adjusting the height of this unique sprinkler! Especially good for plant-covered areas where a traditional sprinkler would cause damage.

What is the maximum amount of water this will handle?

I would like to put three or four of these hooked to a 3/4 inch garden hose being supplied from a 1 1/2 hourse power submersible pump pumping 15 gallons a minute so that I can water two rows of orchard trees and grass. covering 100 to 200 lineal feet of area. Also what is the diameter of the sprinkler water circle?
The Telescoping Impulse Sprinkler will cover an maximum area of 60ft. We're not sure of the maximum amount of water it will handle though.

Free yourself from the strain and aggravation of walk-behind rototillers! Ride in comfort while the DR Roto-Hog™ cultivates a 3-foot wide path, deeply and thoroughly.

Would just an ordinary riding lawn mower have the power to pull this tiller?

I am thinking about purchasing a tiller for my sons to use. They want to put out a small vegetable garden but do not have the land. I have the land but am not able to do the work anymore. We sold our tractor and only have riding lawn mowers now.
It's not so much the Riding Lawnmower having the power to pull it, it's having the weight to "hold back" the Rotohog because the Tines are driving it forward. We recommend getting the Drag Stakes Kit (25017) to help with this.

DR TreeChopper - ATV Tree Cutting Attachment
DR TreeChopper - ATV Tree Cutting Attachment
Halt the spread of invasive tree species! Introducing an ATV attachment that lets you quickly and easily reclaim range land, create shooting lanes, clear fence lines, and make fire breaks.

The two circular blades wont continue to rotate.

Whether the grass is short or long the two circular blades will not continue to rotate. With short grass I cut but 3 small trees and the blades are frozen. I am driving 5 - 9 miles an hour in second gear in 4 wheel drive with a 2013 Honda Forman 500. The trees are about the size of my thumb and the grass has just started to grow on land that was pastured last year till fall. The circular blades are set to pass a single sheet of paper without cutting it but does have drag. The head is lowered with a winch and does float on the ground. What am I missing?
It's possible the Blades have some pitch & debris "gunking" them up. Follow the instructions on page 20 of your manual for adjustment. Clean off any debris you find. If this doesn't clear up the issue, please call in to Tech Support at 800-687-6575.

If you want the ability to knock out 2-1/2" thick saplings, plus the toughest grass and weeds, this machine is for you. Go anywhere with 4 forward speeds (1 reverse) and lockable differential. 26" cut.

The skid on the right side of the mower deck broke off due to normal wear & tear. What is the best way to correct this problem?

I own an older model 13 HP DR Brush mower. The skids are welded on to the deck. I noticed the newer models have bolt on skids. Is there a kit available to modify my older model to bolt on skids? Or do I need to have a welding shop repair / replace the damaged skid?
Unfortunately, the new style bolt on Skids are not retrofitable to the older style Decks. Getting a piece of Rebar welded on probably the easiest option for you.

The electric-starting PREMIER is a tremendous value, and will outperform many higher priced machines. The 6.50 Kohler OHV engine, with cast iron sleeve, is perfect for all your trimming and lighter mowing tasks.

Where is it built?

Where are the Premier and Premier Plus Trimmer built? Are both engines Koehler and Briggs & Stratton built outside of the USA?
The TR4 Trimmers are made right here in Vermont.

The Kohler Engine on the Premier model is made in China.

The Briggs & Stratton Engine on the Premier Plus model is made in the USA.
