do you use the battery off the towing vehicle? Can i use an electric golf cart?
The Electric Start Roto-Hog has it's own Battery.
A Golf Cart could be used. You would need to have Tires with good traction & more than likely 4 wheel drive. You would lose the ease of engaging/disengaging the Tines though. You would need to get out of the Cart to do this. You may also want the Drag Stake Kit to help keeping it from pushing the Cart depending on the Cart weight.

Repairing the shear pulley?
Your staff member stated "The belt driven Pulley on top of the Blade Spindle is a Shear Pulley. The center hub is designed to shear when encountering anything too hard to protect the Engine."
How easy is it to repair/replace the shear pulley when it shears? How long? How much does it cost?
We have some pretty rocky terrain. What do you think of the advice to just throttle back in those areas to reduce the possibility of damage?
Can it still handle the job? I would imagine you would have to be less aggressive in the brush one was attacking then. True?

There is no repairing, only replacing. It's simple to replace. Remove the Belt Guard, Belt and Top Spindle nut to remove & reverse the process to install.

No it can't. The Hand Vac option takes the place of the snout. everything still goes through the impeller.

Any Engine related tuning should be done through an authorized Kohler Service shop. Opening the Engine may void the warranty.
